This house is set back in a field not far from town center in Cumberland. In the early afternoon, the summer sun lights it beautifully from above, throwing deep shadows across its bright white faces.
It was sketched in graphite and painted from a photograph on Winsor & Newton 140 lb. cold-pressed paper with Schmincke and Daniel Smith watercolors.
