Sarah Madeira Day
I am a Maine native who is in love with the outdoors. Maine is a fiercely beautiful place, and a constant source of inspiration for the landscapes which I create. After graduating with a B.A. in Studio Art and Economic Theory from Wheaton College in 2007, I jumped into a medley of careers during the day, while also working as a portrait artist at night. In 2015, I shifted from portrait to landscape painting; and in 2017, I was able to make my part-time business into a full-time position.
Currently, I create original paintings on canvas, which I then reproduce in print to accommodate all price points. Accessibility and quality are two very important values of my business.
I live with my husband, two daughters, and dog Hartley in Cumberland. Inspired by many people and things, my goal is to create beautiful, attainable art.
