This postcard shows the Merrill Monument in the center of town, at the corner of Tuttle Road, Blanchard Road and Main Street, in Cumberland, Maine. It was a gift to the Town of Cumberland from the son of William Merrill. This monument was erected in 1929 to honor those who fought in the Civil War.
