Live edge wood helps us understand that wooden furniture was once a living thing; it allows you to see how every tree has its own irregularities and figuring.
For my tops, I bookmatch, or mirror, live edge pieces to create symmetry from a tree's irregularities. I draw inspiration from this symmetry for a clean design and lightly sculpted base, complimenting the natural top. As no two tops of mine are the same, no two bases of mine are the same either.
